Giving Pets and Survivors a Way to Safety
In 2023, we recognized the link between domestic violence and pet abuse, and how pets can prevent survivors from leaving unsafe homes.
we partnered with a local women’s shelter to launch a pet fostering program, providing safe temporary care, medical and behavioral support, and trained foster caregivers.
We ensure pets are protected while survivors find safety and stability. No one should have to choose between their safety and their pet.
